Technical Specialist - One Vacancy
We have immediate vacancy available for to work with our clients with Aspectech Sdn Bhd.
Overview
- Work with customers on technical issues received via phone call or e-mail.Complete research and provide solutions to customers.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently to customers.
- Work as a team to accomplish the goals and objectives of the support organization.
Responsibility
- Research technical questions or issues raised by customers. Follow the User Guide metrics to appropriately escalate calls.
- Communicate problem resolution to customers according to agreed upon follow-up commitments.
- Track all open and pending customer calls. Call resolutions are to be completed in compliance with the User Guide metrics. Calls are to remain open a maximum of thirty days from the initial call, unless approved by the Support Manager.
- Provide on-site and phone installation support to customers, as needed.
- Provide product training to customers and internal staff.
- Determine when an issue needs development attention and report the issue on the weekly “Critical Issues Report”.
- Create Scopus Solutions as indicated in the Scopus Solutions guidelines.
- Schedule Technical Consultants for appropriate coverage.
- Provide beta and early release support.
- Participate in the hiring process for new Technical Consultants.
- Participate in bug review meetings and represent customer viewpoints by soliciting feedback from the Support group.
Qualifications:
- Recognized Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering
- Required 10 years related working experiences
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Process simulation and modeling experience is mandatory
